For those who are not familiar with the classics, it may seem that the cobweb is a local slang and has nothing to do with the real meaning of the word. However, this is not so - in CS 1. 6 it is indeed possible to enable flight mode by location on the web. With this function, you can attach to the walls and objects located on the map, and then be attracted to them. This feature can be used by both the server admin and other players, if access is allowed. You can use this function in two ways - using the console command or through a separate hook plugin. Let's consider both options in more detail.
How to register a web?
To begin, consider the simplest option to enable this function, which does not imply the use of third-party software. To do this, open the command line with the "~" key (if this key does not work, then assign another one in the control settings). After that, in the console that appears, enter the command bind "key" "+ rope". Instead of the "key" we insert any free key that will be responsible for flying on the web. For example, to assign the K button, you need to write the bind "k" "+ rope" command. Now, when you press K, the web will be released to the point where the player’s sight is directed.
Plugin installation
You need to download the plugin called Hook and unzip the files to the amxmodx folder, which is located in the plugins directory cstrike / addons. Now open the plugins.ini file using Notepad or any other text editor and insert the line prokreedz_hook.amxx there. Then close the file with the changes saved.
Now it remains to assign a key for flying on the web. To do this, enter the command in the console as in the previous method. The line is as follows: bind "key" "+ hook". Type a command and press Enter to apply.
