Reusable diapers for dogs ... Is it possible for dog breeders to dream of such a good thing at least a dozen years ago? Conventional newspapers, home-made or purchased trays of sand, sawdust and ordinary diapers, which were washed several times a day, were used. And for owners of serious nurseries, daily wet cleanings (and every hour) were ordinary everyday life. One could not dream of rest - in the house where the puppies were growing up, there should not have been any dirty and wet floors.
Then came medical diapers designed for babies and bedridden patients. The dog breeders, whom affluence allowed, “switched” to them. Diapers were sold in ordinary pharmacies and, it would seem, were cheap. However, when calculating the costs for only one month (or even better - for the year), it turned out that the amount was running quite solid.
In theory, reusable diapers for dogs, and even absorbing, and even retaining the smell, had to solve many problems in one fell swoop. Why did the lovers of our smaller brothers react so incredulously to such a novelty? The answer is paradoxical: there are too many good qualities in the absence of flaws. Let's consider in more detail.
Strength. The material from which the reusable absorbent diapers for dogs are made is strong enough. This means tear resistant. Any dog breeder knows firsthand: a little puppy tries “on the tooth” and “on the claw” almost everything that he likes. The diaper is quite strong and you just won’t be able to break it, even if you try.
Security. The diaper that does not contain hazardous fillers is made of rachel knitted fabric (first layer, quick-drying), polyester and viscose needle-punched non-woven fabric (second layer, absorbent), breathable and at the same time waterproof polyurethane membrane (third layer, waterproof), polyester knitted fabric (fourth fixing layer).
Excellent absorbency. Due to the composition specified in the previous paragraph, the liquid quickly penetrates into the diaper and is kept there, leaving both the diaper surface and the floor on which it lies dry. A square meter can absorb 2 liters. It turns out that one big oilcloth is enough for a whole day for monthly puppies (with an average litter of 5-6 individuals).
Quick drying. A logical question: what about drying? It turns out that there are no problems with this either. Despite their good absorbency, reusable dog diapers dry out quickly. By the way, they can be dried on a battery. I must say that such "emergency" diaper measures are well tolerated.
Any kind of washing. Autoclaving is allowed.
Reasonable price. We will not name the exact cost of reusable diapers, since they all differ not only in size, but also in manufacturers. Purely for reference, please note that the average price is about 30 y. e. apiece.
Long service life. You can count on a minimum of 300 wash cycles.
Universality. Do you need a toilet for puppies? Looking for bedding for a giving birth dog? Do you want to take a warm and always dry mat to an adult pet booth? Pay attention to reusable diapers for dogs. The feedback from those who have already seen them in action is unambiguous: they are convenient, practical and, last but not least, quickly pay off.
