But the owners of the animal named Tard consider completely different. Their eternally displeased cat seems to them very funny and in no way dangerous. And the whole world, seeing him, was fascinated, but not at all frightened. And all because this eternally “angry” cat, whose photo excited the Internet, is only angry!
The story of this hero (or rather, the heroine) began in the spring of 2012. In Arizona, near the middle of spring, the cat brought a charming litter to the Bunders family. Since mom had a breed of “tricolor striped for luck,” and dad had “some striped neighborly,” kittens were always given to friends completely free of charge. But this time, things did not go according to plan: the ten-year-old Crystal noticed that one cub was very unusual, and decided to keep it for herself.
So, the baby got the name Sauce Tartar (Tard - shortened nickname). The girl had the wrong bite, small body, the wrong body proportions ... but it was these defects that brought her popularity. Thanks to her short legs, she walks very funny, and her crooked bite and huge round eyes made her a "displeased cat" (otherwise Grumpy Kat), known throughout the world.
Already at six months of age, Tarde won universal love. Photos and videos were posted on the Internet by its owner, and instantly appearing fans made sure that the "disgruntled cat" appeared in demotivators and memes.
Noting the popularity of her pupil, the Bunders were not at a loss and began to produce figurines, T-shirts and printed dishes, toys, calendars, key rings and other products. Their logo was, of course, their favorite "displeased cat." All these trinkets allow the owners of Grumpy Cat not to work!
Currently, Tard brings a huge income to his family, so, of course, no one thinks to regret leaving a kitty. And actually, there’s nothing to regret - in spite of the angry face, the pet has a soft, gentle character, is very playful and does not quarrel with anyone.
Currently, the "disgruntled cat" has become so popular that many fans are not only happy to spend money on souvenirs depicting their hero, but even make tattoos with him.

By the way, not so long ago, pictures from the birthday of Grumpy Kat appeared on it - the holiday was arranged perfectly, and in some images it even looks quite happy!
To date, Tard has already recorded her own song, and a few months later, in October 2013, she will release the Grumpy Book, which will include the most funny and interesting pictures and demotivators with her participation.
