It is better to buy a large terrarium right away (about 100 liters), because, as described above, turtles grow in size very quickly. Land in the aquarium should occupy at least 25-30%. Moreover, it should be inclined, and its surface should be rough - so that the sea turtle could crawl ashore without problems. On land, you can place large or small pebbles, and above it there is always a good lamp, so that it serves as the "sun" for the reptile and warms it. The water in the terrarium should be warm enough, within 22-26 degrees Celsius, and for monitoring it is necessary to install a thermometer. Tap water is not dangerous for turtles, but it’s better to stand it for several days. It requires a change once a week, as it becomes soiled.
