How it was?

Initially, this standard was developed by SanDisk. The first such device was introduced back in 2004 - a little less than 10 years ago. In connection with certain agreements, obligations to the German mobile operator and telecommunications services, T-Mobile was forced to rename them to TransFlash. A year later, back to square one - such memory cards got their current name.
