When is Fisherman's Day celebrated in Russia? This holiday has its roots back in 1980. The date of the celebration changes every time. Now it is customary to celebrate it on the second Sunday of July. To determine the number of Fisherman's Day will be celebrated in each year, you can only consult the calendar. For example, in 2012, fishermen from all over the country competed in craftsmanship and boasted of their catch on July 8th. And Fisherman's Day in 2013 falls on July 14th. Of course, fishing is a hobby in which gambling can manifest itself. But the process of fishing also brings a sense of calm, satisfaction. It is thanks to the combination of such different properties that fishing as a hobby has become very popular in our country.
What gifts are appropriate?
On holidays, it is customary to give gifts. And on Fisherman's Day, when everyone whispers and sings about fish, the best gift for the fisherman would be his catch, or at least the very opportunity to relax with a fishing rod on the river bank. This opportunity can be created, but with a catch it is more difficult. Friends and relatives, dressed in diving suits, will not secretly cling a fish to the hook of their friend, as in the famous film. But they can very well prepare a festive lunch (dinner) of fish and seafood on this day. People who have even the most distant relation to this holiday should better spend Fisherman's Day in nature. When you later recall it, thoughts and feelings will be only the most pleasant, since you will get violent emotions, a healthy portion of fresh sea (or river) air, peace from communication with the water element, from familiarization with such a motley and surprisingly enthusiastic environment fishermen.
