Holidays in the kindergarten were and remain welcome for both children and parents. Especially exciting is the first morning performance - New Year's. In the younger group, this is all the more responsible, because the kids are not yet familiar with such large-scale events. How to spend this holiday so that it remains in memory for a long time, this article will tell.
Preparation
Probably everyone loved New Year's party in kindergarten. The younger group, which is visited by children from one and a half years old, needs special preparation for this event. This circumstance is connected with the fact that the majority of kindergarten pupils are still new to various fairy-tale characters, and children can simply be frightened by the Snow Maiden or the Snowman, as a result of which the holiday will be ruined.
In order to avoid this, it is necessary to begin preparation in advance (ideally in ten days). Guys should be direct participants in this fascinating process.
So which options to choose?
- Advent calendar. This term has long and firmly entered our lives. It is intended to show the remaining time before the holiday, but at the same time it is also an excellent developing platform for kids. In kindergarten, it can be a Christmas tree decorated with magic balls, inside of which there are tasks for today for the whole group.
- Acquaintance with New Year characters. This communication should be one-way so that children are waiting for a miracle. Of course, this miracle will be a New Year's party. In the younger group, you can leave in a conspicuous place any material for the game brought by a fabulous hero. For example, the Snowman brought the children cotton wool so that they could get acquainted with its properties, think about what it looks like, and even make crafts with their own hands.
- Music. Teachers conduct classes with playing and singing winter and New Year songs so that the pupils at the matinee are comfortable. After all, everyone knows that a small child in an unfamiliar environment is lost or uncomfortable.

In the era of readily available e-books and the Internet, coming up with a thematic focus on the event will not be difficult. An interesting New Year's party in the younger group may have the following name:
- "Fairytale snowflakes." It proposes to beat the fairy tale "Masha and the Bear," but instead of a girl, the Snow Maiden got into the bear’s house. And without it, there can be no holiday. While the Snow Maiden comes up with how to escape from the bear, Santa Claus girlfriends and Santa Claus go in search of her.

Since the New Year's party is held in the younger group, you should not require the children to memorize the whole song. If it is in their power, only the refrain can be learned.
