Every person who uses a computer has to download various applications. In most cases, installing programs is a very simple process that runs automatically.
Many users mistakenly believe that not all available knowledge will be required to install applications on Ubuntu, and complex sets of commands will have to be entered manually.
Everything is completely different. Not even the most trained user can easily cope with this task, despite the fact that installing programs on Linux is fundamentally different from the same action on Windows. The easiest way for beginners is to download programs from the Ubuntu Application Center.Install from repository in GUI
Ubuntu provides an Application Center that stores the tested paid and free programs and packages. Installing programs from the repository greatly facilitates the process and ensures the correct operation of applications.
Before installing, you need to start the repository by clicking on its icon, which can be found on the vertical panel on the left (when you hover over the icon, its name will appear - "Ubuntu Application Center").
On the main page of the repository, on the left, there is a block of categories, in the center of the upper part of the page are new programs, at the bottom are applications that have received the highest ratings from users.
