When it comes to growing plants or harvesting, the player can use the / gamerule randomTickSpeed ​​(number) command, where (number) is the rate of random changes in each chunk. Simply put, this command accelerates changes in global processes, but does not change the current time of day.

If we are talking about changing the day and night, then the player is available to the / time command. It has several arguments that allow you to fine-tune the time change:

  • time set (day / midnight / night / noon). This command sets the timer to the appropriate value. Only one option is required.
  • time add Adds the specified number to the current counter. It is worth remembering that in Minecraft there is a rather strange system for calculating the time of day, so the parameter "time" varies from 0 to 18000. The maximum value corresponds to midnight.

Game process

The last way to speed up time at Minecraft is to use the most ordinary bed. If all the characters on the server go to bed at the same time, then the time automatically rewinds to the nearest “control point” - midnight or morning.

To assemble the bed, the player will need 3 units of wool and the same number of boards. The first material can be obtained either by shearing the sheep or by killing them. Boards are collected from any type of wood.
