Choosing a good guitar is not easy even for an experienced guitarist. Everyone knows that in the first place you need to pay attention to the material of which the instrument is made, to sound and more. But, first of all, the guitar should be comfortable. According to this criterion, the instrument can be conditionally divided into convenient, which helps to play, indifferent - does not interfere, but also does not help (most of these guitars), and uncomfortable - it resists and interferes with the musician (there are also a lot of similar instruments).
Guitars for sale Today it is carried out in any music store, characterized by a wide range of models and brands. But how to make the right choice? Before going to the store, stock up with a ruler of about 40 centimeters and a half-meter thread. Then proceed to the selection, following some rules.
- The upper deck is the main component of the sound of the guitar. Therefore, the material from which it was made is very important. If such material is an array - cedar, spruce, then the sound will be more saturated and brighter. But those who are going to play in more extreme conditions, it is better to buy a deck of plywood. It does not require special care and practically does not lend itself to temperature extremes, high humidity and more.
- Pay attention to the assembly of the tool. The top deck between the cavity and the stand must be level. If you find a failure, then the guitar will not be able to sound at full strength. You can detect such a failure if you pull a thread across the guitar and lean it against the edges of the upper deck.
- An important point is the edging of the case. Do not think that this is an element of decor, as the edging connects the shells with decks. Often low-quality guitars are sold without edging or painted. Beware of such acquisitions. If the guitar is painted, take a look at whether there is a border. And another important aspect - be very careful about painted guitars, because often, in this way, they hide production defects - scratches, embossments, nicks.
- Rate the back of the neck. A quality fingerboard must have a sizing or glue line that indicates that the fingerboard consists of two parts. If the neck is one-piece, then the guitar will give in to deformation faster and will lead to additional repair.
- The strings should have a small kink in the region of the lower nut. If the string lies on the bone, the guitar can be considered defective.
- Pay attention to the bottom stand - there should be no gap between it and the deck. If he is still present, this means that soon the stand will begin to come off.
- If you notice that the instrument is not tuned, but you liked it, take a look at the top stand. If there is a margin left for bone transfer, the disorder will be quickly fixed in the workshop. But such a margin should be from 3 mm in each direction.
If you looked after a certain guitar and did not find any significant flaws in it, play it for several minutes. Experts say that only in this way you can understand whether it suits you. Good luck with your purchases!
