Basically, on most servers, in order to start writing chat in Sampa, just press the F6 or T key in the English layout. You will notice the activated window right away - the cursor for printing will appear in the text input line. Now you can chat with other players!
How to use?
However, simply writing the text is not enough to communicate normally with the players. For certain actions, you need to enter additional commands before the speech. If you just write the text, then all players will hear it at a distance of up to 15 meters. Also, your speech will not apply to a specific character, and the action will not be counted according to the rules of the RP.
The best option is the first time you enter SAMP, enter the / help command in the chat to display a prompt with all available combinations.
Below are the basic commands that you must learn:
- when you enter / w * text * your character will begin to whisper, and only the closest player will hear him;
- the / s command allows you to shout a greater distance. Itβs best not to abuse this feature so as not to clog the chat window with other players. Use the team according to the situation;
- / me * text * is an expression of an action or emotion. In GTA SAMP, such things can only be shown using text.
