If a working woman finds out that she is pregnant, in connection with this she has a lot of different questions, but the most important thing is how, and most importantly, when to tell the authorities about her situation. Indeed, unfortunately, a fairly large number of employers believe that pregnancy and work are two things that are very difficult to combine with each other.
But in any case, sooner or later, an interesting situation will become known. And therefore, in order to avoid any problems at work and a pregnant woman to feel good, it is necessary to remember the following simple but very important rules:
1. It is better to immediately inform the authorities about their situation. After all, a woman will need to constantly visit a doctor, and this in turn can cause delays in work. And that is precisely why management believes that pregnancy and work are incompatible.
2. It is necessary to more carefully plan your work day. In no case should you be overworked, but you also cannot transfer your direct responsibilities to other employees. After all, precisely because of the failure to fulfill their tasks, pregnant women often have conflicts at work. It’s better to honestly say that it’s hard for you to complete the full amount. In this case, the likelihood that the authorities will meet you is much higher. Some organizations may work for pregnant women at home. In this case, a woman takes certain tasks or part of them to the house and performs them when it is most convenient for her.
3. Of course, pregnancy and work are difficult, but still combined with each other, and therefore, in order to maintain a normal physical and mental state of a woman’s health, she needs to take at least four fifteen-minute breaks during the working day to rest.
4. And another important rule is the intake of wholesome and healthy food. Therefore, it is better to abandon the usual fast-food lunch and carry it with you from home.
Following these simple rules, every woman will understand for herself and be able to convince her management that pregnancy and work are very compatible things.
Many expectant mothers are also worried about the question of how much they need to work out to go on maternity leave. As a rule, there is no strictly restriction here. But the fact is that all types of benefits are calculated on the basis of the average earnings received by the mother over the past two years of her activity. Therefore, it is considered optimal if a woman works at least for this period before going on vacation.
If we talk about the vacation itself, then the maternity leave is granted to a woman when her pregnancy will be 30 weeks. But gynecologists advise to go on vacation also in the first trimester of pregnancy. Such a vacation can be taken either at your own expense, or you can go to the usual, provided once a year to each employee. After all, it is at this time that the fetus develops intensively and the woman should rest more.
Knowing and observing these simple but extremely important rules, each expectant mother can easily combine work and her position, and she can prove to others with her own example that pregnancy and work can be perfectly combined.
