Regardless of the version, BIOS Setup has many settings and options that are responsible for the state of the computer and its components. Among them there is a function responsible for the processor cooling system, called CPU Fan Control.
Description
This option is responsible for the intelligent control of the cooler fan speed. It reduces the speed of its rotation during downtime and low load of the PC, when the operating temperature of the processor drops significantly.
Enabling this feature positively affects the noise level of the cooling system, and in some versions of the BIOS allows manual switching between intelligent control and user mode. The latter implies the appointment of the number of fan revolutions as a percentage of the maximum allowable by the owner of the computer.
