How to stick it yourself?

You can not resort to the services of companies that carry out car pasting with a decorative coating, since this procedure can be performed independently. But it should immediately be foreseen that this is a time-consuming business. In addition, it is advisable to invite an assistant.

  1. First, thoroughly wash the car, so that it practically shines.
  2. The place where the matte film will be glued must be degreased. For these purposes, "White Spirit" is suitable.
  3. Now you should attach the film to this place and mark it. This stage is best done with an assistant. One puts and holds, and the other draws.
  4. Cut the workpiece.
  5. Next, the part of the car body on which the film will be sticker must be thoroughly moistened with a soapy water solution. This can be done using a sprayer or sponge. Soap solution should cover the entire pasted area.

  6. Carefully remove the paper backing so that the film does not stick together with itself and gently attach it to the car body. With a rubber squeegee, evenly roll it from the center to the edges, drying it with a building hairdryer.
  7. When the whole film is rolled up, blow dry it and leave it in this state for 15 minutes.
  8. To complete the job, go over the film with a felt squeegee to remove any soapy solution and bubbles. If some bubbles have not disappeared, then you can remove them by warming with a hairdryer or punctures with a needle and re-rolling this area with a squeegee. Very small bubbles will disappear themselves after the final drying for one to two weeks.
