Baby nutrition 6 months: which products to choose?

The nutrition of a 6-month-old baby should consist of milk and thick foods, do not forget about grated fruits and cereals. At this age, complementary foods are introduced when the baby is in good physical condition. “Normal” food should be introduced gradually, because the small ventricle is slowly adapting to new conditions of life. At 6 months, the baby's teeth erupt and the phase of enhanced growth begins, so you need to give your baby all the beneficial substances that contribute to development. Every day it is necessary to offer the child fruits: banana, grated apple, peaches, apricots. You can grind these products in a blender to a liquid state, and then you need to boil a little, so that the food is better perceived. If the baby was breast-fed for up to six months or ate the mixture, you need to start accustoming him to "adult" food little by little, starting with half a teaspoon, gradually increasing the amount. It is simply necessary to observe the reaction to the nutrition of the child of 6 months in order to notice or prevent allergic reactions. The body of the little one is still not at all adapted and tender, therefore it is better to prevent allergies than to treat advanced psoriasis (a disease in which the skin becomes covered with an unpleasant crust).

The nutrition of children at 6 months should also consist of cereals, which, too, to avoid excess density, are crushed in a blender after cooking. Hercules, oatmeal and semolina cereals are recommended, which are boiled in a mixture or diluted milk. You can, of course, offer the baby ready-made cereals that are brewed in hot water, but homemade food is still preferable, because the mother’s warmth and love are enclosed in it.





Calculating the nutrition of children from 6 months, you can also include vegetable stew in the diet with the addition of cereals and meat. When choosing meat products, one must be guided not only by freshness, but also by quality. Children well perceive chicken, turkey and veal. Fatty meats should be avoided because they are difficult for the baby’s maladaptive digestive system. Vegetables that can be used when cooking soup stew: cauliflower, broccoli, zucchini, carrots, potatoes. You can cook stewed potatoes with veal and carrots - it turns out very tasty and nutritious. The main thing is to monitor the skin of the baby a few hours after feeding. Potatoes contain starch, which can produce an undesirable reaction.

The nutrition of a child of 6 months forms the further work of his digestive tract, therefore food poisoning during this period is very dangerous. If you do not like any ingredient (smell, color, taste) - it is better to throw it away and not risk the health and life of your child.

Eating a baby of 6 months should be a pleasant and exciting experience - you can read fairy tales to the baby, sing a song, turn feeding into a game - the main thing is that he feels good, because, otherwise, he may refuse to eat at all for a long time. Do not force-feed the little one - this can lead to tantrum, which is already bad for the child's psyche, or vomiting and discomfort. Do not rush the child - he eats at the pace he needs, feeding should take place in a calm environment without irritating factors. If your child does not like the offered product - this can be seen by grimaces and the intention to spit out food - offer the little one something else, in extreme cases, replacing the dish with breast milk or a mixture.

A very important product in the diet of a six-month-old baby is cottage cheese, which is always prescribed in the dairy kitchen. Not all children love it because of the specific acid, so the best solution would be to mix the product with your favorite sweet fruits, for example, with a banana.

At 6 months, teeth usually begin to be actively cut, so you can treat your child with special children's cookies, which he will suck and nibble with pleasure, thereby massaging his gums.
