Mistress's dream! And a huge advantage: a wonderful sponge absorbs up to 300 ml of water, and water does not drain from it. Melamine sponges excite the minds of many modern housewives. For several years now, they have been helping us get rid of old spots, and are popularly called miracle sponges. This is not surprising! Enthusiastic reviews are found everywhere: from women's magazines to word of mouth. But what is their secret?

The answer is quite simple - in the material. Such a cleaning sponge consists of melamine foam, which removes impurities, penetrating deep into the pores of the surface. It is enough to moisten this “miracle” with warm water - and resistant spots can be easily cleaned from a wide variety of surfaces: glass ceramics, wallpaper, linoleum and even plastic.

Melamine sponges absorb dirt particles, thereby cleaning the surface. The main feature of such a cleaning agent is abrasive particles, but despite their presence in their composition, the sponges do not leave any marks on the surfaces. Without a problem, the oven and microwave will be washed away without leaving traces or smell, just such a sponge. The melamine sponge is completely harmless. However, manufacturers do not recommend using it for daily washing dishes.

How to use melamine sponges? Extremely simple: just moisten with warm water, gently squeeze (do not twist and stretch the sponge, you just need to squeeze it between your palms) and wipe the dirty surface. You don’t need to rub the stove with a whole sponge, because the principle of the work of the wonderful sponges resembles an eraser - melamine is quickly erased. The sponge will last much longer if you cut off pieces from it as needed, since this material is soft.

The advantages of the melamine sponge are many:

  • Cleansing ability. The sponge copes with the majority of “home” stains, at the same time it is completely odorless, does not spoil the surface and saves us from having to use household chemicals.
  • Absorbency A stunning effect is provided regardless of whether you use a dry or wet sponge. However, it should be remembered that melamine is afraid of high temperatures, and, therefore, it is necessary to use warm water, and preferably cold.
  • Structural features. Due to its porous structure, melamine sponges perfectly retain soft dirt. The cleaning ability of the sponge will last longer if you do not rinse it too often.
