Fabric diving: a description of the matter

fabric diving description

Fabric diving is an artificial synthetic material. The industry produces such matter by combining several types of artificial fibers, mainly of synthetic origin, such as viscose, polyester and elastane.

The production of this material is not a particularly expensive business, and countries such as China and Turkey have flooded the market with these products. What is fabric diving? A description of its components will help us answer this question. The natural substance added to its composition, only one thing is cotton.

Diving fabric: composition

Viscose is considered the most natural among chemical fibers. The starting material for the production of viscose is wood pulp, due to which the fabric retains its value in our days. With the addition of this component to the material, it can be given the appearance of any natural fiber: silk, cotton and wool. Viscose is the most basic additive (65%) in diving fabric. Description of matter: without impurities, has the property of shrinkage, is easily wrinkled, the flowability of threads occurs along the sections of parts.

Polyester is made from artificial synthetic fibers and is valued for its ability to practically wear out. Moreover, this matter is light, breathable and waterproof. Polyester in fabric diving is 30% of all additives.

Elastane is an artificial fiber that has many names: spandex, neolan, vorin. It is unique in its ability to stretch, while being 8-9 times larger than its original size. If the load is removed, it quickly returns to its original form. Depending on the percentage composition in a given matter, the elasticity of the product decreases or increases. The material is resistant to ultraviolet radiation, sea and chlorinated water will not affect its quality. Only 5% elastane is added to the diving fabric. The description of the added matter shows that it is not easy to pollute, it has the ability to withstand substances such as oils, fats and sweat secretions.

Natural substance added to the tissue.

Cotton is a natural plant fiber extracted from cotton bolls. After processing at the ginneries, these raw materials are thin, short and soft fibers. Cotton has both positive and negative characteristics. High strength, heat resistance, hygroscopicity - these are among the advantages. Disadvantages: a product made of it is easily creased, has the property to sit, turns yellow in the light. As a raw material, cotton is used in the textile industry. In fabric diving, its share is 10 percent.

diving fabric characteristic

Diving fabric: characteristic

In the color scheme of things from it, preference is given to black, raspberry, beige tones. Products are easily washed in warm water, absorb moisture well, and are resistant to physical influences. In the light industry, tights, leggings, leggings are made from such fabric. Thanks to their good elasticity, these products fit perfectly on the figure, emphasizing all its advantages, which is the highlight of this material. Thanks to the combination of viscose, polyester, elastane and cotton fibers, chemists invented diving fabric. The description of this material indicates that, in fact, it is knitwear, only more dense, well stretching and inextensible.
