Waste oil stove - beneficial heat

A waste oil stove is a device that every car repair shop needs to have where consumables accumulate. Also, such a device may be relevant for automobile enterprises, depots and their employees, who will be able to use what used to be often merged, polluting the environment, or given for processing for money. Indeed, more than one liter of oil is drained from each machine, which can be converted into environmentally friendly heat.

waste oil stove

A waste oil stove allows you to heat large rooms, for example, a warehouse with an area of up to 300 square meters. For this purpose, equipment 30M of the Polaris brand may be suitable. The device from this company consumes a little fuel, has a modern design, which allows it to fit into any interior, and "gives out" heating power up to 30 kW. The furnace has an automated oil supply, which makes its use very convenient, and a fan that distributes warm air over a given area. Users may be interested in equipment with increased capacity, which can heat up areas of up to 3000 square meters. It has such an option as turbocharging, which allows both oil and the resulting vapor to burn out completely. Additional reliability of the furnace is provided by the absence of a nozzle.

waste oil burners

A simple waste oil stove works according to the following principle: from the fuel tank, the oil through the dispenser (gear pump + electric drive + control unit) enters the combustion cup, where the fuel burns, heating the combustion chamber and cover. The received heat is transferred by the fan to the room. Combustion products are removed through a chimney.

A device such as a used oil stove quickly pays for itself in the presence of a free source of oily waste. In some cases, users buy fuel for such units at a cheap price in the nearest car service. In others, waste oil equipment effectively replaces boilers for other fuels (gas, electricity, diesel), which are more expensive.

waste oil heater

Waste oil burners are built into boilers or air heaters. Many of them work on almost all types of fuel - from animal fats to engine and transmission “mining” (universal variants of the Kroll company). To operate such a device, you may need a compressor that is not supplied. The burner is easy to maintain, does not require additional operations when changing the fuel, in addition to changing the settings, it has a control unit with electronics and good noise isolation, which ensures almost silent operation. The heat output can be from 25 to 200 kW.

Many motorists have already appreciated such a device as a waste oil heater. They are not released on an industrial scale, so many craftsmen make them with their own hands. Although in recent years there have been pyrolysis furnaces with a capacity of 5 kW or more. They are very compact, so they can easily fit in the garage, without causing any particular inconvenience to the owner of the car.
