The history of the breed
It is believed that the British could be brought to the islands by Roman conquerors. Perhaps the appearance of these animals in the UK involved French sailors. In the late nineteenth century, British Shorthair first participated in the exhibition, where she was immediately recognized as the best. In those days, the only color that this breed of cat was supposed to have was recognized . The Briton was supposed to have a blue fur coat.
