Asura Kishin is the main antagonist of manga and TV adaptation called “Soul Eater”. In fact, an antihero appears in front of the reader in the most traditional interpretation, blind and insane. Asura was the first to be called the demon god, he is known as the lord of madness and the most cowardly man in the world. All this is intertwined in the character of an antagonist with forbidden, and sometimes terrifying thoughts about the wrong side of the world, and Asura Kishin will do everything in his power to open up society and satisfy his curiosity.
Source and series
The author of the manga "Soul Eater" is Atsushi Okubo. In the center of the plot is a certain academy in which the reapers are being trained, the task of which is to restrain the very madness and awakening of kisin. Each applicant for the highest score seeks to gain a "scythe of death", for which one of the partners in tandem will have to devour 99 and 1 evil souls. The latter should belong to the witch. The training takes place according to the "master-gun" system, in which one student performs the role of a fighter, while the second turns into a weapon.
Directly the world itself appears as a kind of parody of real life. According to the original source, the Shinigami Academy is located in the United States in Nevada. Among the heroes there are quite a few of those who are an allusion to famous representatives of various subcultures. It is unclear what the situation of people in this world is, as well as how witches appear, the main opponents of students and Shinigami himself.
History of Asura Kishinev
The origin of the antagonist, like his early years at the academy, remained behind the scenes. At the time of mention in the original source, the hero was already a student of the Shinigami himself, since he showed considerable potential. Asura later managed to become a member of the Shinigami's Eight Strongest Fighters, a unit whose mission was to destroy the covens. On one of the assignments, Chisinau dealt alone with a group of witches, although the whole G8, led by the Shinigami, arrived on a mission. Despite all its strength, the antagonist was subject to madness as a result of fear for his life before the whole world around him.
Imprisonment in the walls of one's own flesh
After the antagonist was seen eating souls in order to become stronger, Shinigami decided that his student had gone too far. At that time, Asura Kinish had already managed to absorb his Weapon, a partner who took the form of a vajra, a ritual weapon in the form of a dagger. The antagonist more and more fell into madness, threatening to destroy the world. Around the former Shinigami student, an aura of fear formed, as a result of which weak souls began to lose themselves. They managed to stop Chisinau only by stripping the skin from him and imprisoning the demon god himself inside such a prison. After that, he was placed under the Academy, and Shinigami himself was forced to bind his soul in an attempt to permanently protect the world from the influence of Asura.
Character Features
Outwardly, Asura Kishin resembles her, as it turned out later, brother - Death of the Younger, who is also studying at the Academy. He is a dark-skinned brunette, flexible and strong. The symbol of three eyes flaunts on the head of a demon god; it is not known whether it has the same strength as the sigil of Death of the Younger. The same emblem flaunted on Asura Kishin's scarf when he was still listed at the Academy.
Being paranoid, the hero dressed several sets of clothes at once, wrapped his head tightly in a scarf in order to hide from the irritating influence of the outside world. After the rebirth and the influence of black blood, his skin began to fulfill the function of clothing, lengthening and tightening at the request of the owner.
Soul-eater Asura Kishin did not lose the abilities of his Weapons and even increased them. He can feel the souls of witches, and by eating the essence of Arachne, he has become much stronger.
Liberation and subsequent defeat
Chisinau was freed by the sister of the head of Arachnophobia, Medusa. Her team penetrated the Academy and patted the demon god with black blood, the invention of witches in order to enhance abilities. It worked and Asura Kishin broke free. When he was brought to Arachne, she cajoled him, claiming to protect him from all the fears of the world. The witch needed a strong ally to enslave the world. But the mad Asura simply killed Arachne and devoured her soul, increasing his strength.
The demon god is completely insane. It even follows from the quotes, Asura Kishin was amazingly talkative even in the middle of the battlefield:
Is my madness evil? Madness is just emotions living in the depths of every heart.
The hero believes that the world should be buried in madness, supposedly, this is its true form, while order is just a temporary phenomenon.
It was not possible to destroy Chisinau in the manga. At the moment, he is hiding on the moon, controlling one of Shinigami’s closest associates from there. But in the TV adaptation they decided to finish the story. Pupil Maka and her braid Soul defeated Chisinau. What will happen next with the Academy is unknown, since Shinigami is no longer attached to it, and the key goal for which the training was carried out was achieved.
In any case, Chisinau Asura, art is located above, is still popular, and his ideas are even found exciting and influenced by surrealism.
