The day of the investigating authorities as a professional holiday appeared recently - in 2013, on August 27, the government of the Russian Federation signed a decree on this subject. And now, starting in 2014, the country annually celebrates this holiday.
The history of the holiday
In our country, almost every profession has its own day. But the investigating authorities serving the FSB did not have a professional holiday. This, of course, is terribly unfair! Indeed, it was these people who were the first to come along with the rescue service for all incidents, sometimes risking their lives, regardless of the weather and time.
And so the issue was resolved in 2013. Finally, the Day of Investigating Authority Workers was appointed - July 25th. This date is fixed, not tied to the days of the week, as is the case with most professional holidays. So why did the Russian government order the celebration of the Day of Investigative Officers on July 25?
Choosing a holiday date for serious professionals is not an idle thing
No matter how difficult it may be, the question of when the Day of the Investigator’s Worker should be celebrated has been decided, and all thanks to ... Peter the Great. Rather, his personal decree, which saw the light in 1713, just July 25. He called himself: "On the creation of the investigative office of the Guard Major M. I. Volkonsky."
And this was the first Russian state body, which was subordinate only to the head of state, and to no one else. The “Mayorsky” office, as the employees themselves immediately christened it, was empowered to conduct preliminary investigations of the most dangerous corruption acts.
Today, the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation, just as it was under Peter the Great, is not included in the structure of any of the government bodies, so that its employees can remain objective and impartial, analyzing the affairs of even high-ranking statesmen.

Before the official recognition of professional day on July 25, there was another date - April 6. It was on this day that all the employees of the investigating authorities accepted congratulations.
And although the government has set a specific date since 2014, when all people belonging to the investigative apparatus of Russia celebrate their professional holiday, many in the old way also celebrate April 6th. What? More is not less.
How do professionals celebrate this celebration in the service?
The day of the employee of the investigative authorities, of course, is primarily celebrated at work. Here, the employees of this organization receive official congratulations and gifts, participate in celebrations. Typically, congratulations on the Day of Investigative Officer are heard both on radio and on television from senior officials. The employees receive good parting words and wishes also from the lips of the immediate superiors and, conversely, they themselves congratulate the chefs on this day.
It’s great when the holiday begins immediately after the employee just crosses the threshold of the office. And before my eyes - a bright wall newspaper, on which in large letters a congratulation: "Happy employee of the investigating authorities!" Pictures in it also correspond to the subject. This can be a photo report for the past period, comic cartoons for employees, humorous hand-drawn congratulations.

Often, after a working day, friendly gatherings are organized on Investigator’s Day. And it turns out that these strict and serious people are talented in different areas of life, have fun, have a sense of humor.
First of all, of course, on the corporate party sounds on the Day of the employee of the investigative authorities (July 25) congratulation. A person who received a parcel by mail sent to the police. In it, along with a description of the attachment, was a dead mouse. After a short time, the sender of the parcel was detained and brought to trial for fraud. What guided the investigator who took up this case?
This confusing matter will be easily revealed by a true professional. The phrase “In it, along with a description of the attachment, there was a dead mouse” indicates that, apparently, instead of something valuable, the sender put the mouse in the box. But then, the addressee would probably suspect him of deceit. So, the sender was hoping to “turn the arrows” on someone else. The answer suggests itself - of course, on the mouse! That is, not quite on this small rodent, but on the mail, which supposedly stole through the hole gnawed by the mouse, the entire contents of the parcel.
Riddle 2. The culprit is set free!
When one of the brothers killed the bartender, he was found guilty in court. However, the judge, thinking for a long time before passing the verdict, released the criminal with the words: “You are guilty of murder. But I have no choice but to let you go. You cannot punish the innocent! ” What is the reason for such an act of a judge?
This could only happen if the brothers were Siamese twins. If you put a criminal in prison, then an innocent brother will be punished for a crime that he did not commit.
