It’s also convenient that the character carries a pick with him by default, so at the very beginning you don’t even have to think about purchasing special tools.
The main requirements for any beginner miner are work points and, of course, desire. The development of one deposit will remove five points from the character. Each loot affects the skill leveling. Highly qualified characters will be able to get additional bonuses, for example, an accelerated process of developing a deposit or a lower consumption of work points. At the end of the journey, after reaching the maximum level of the profession, the character will learn how to mine rare northern ore, which will have to go to the Ruins of endangered snakes.
The extracted material is used for the manufacture of various ingots and alloys, which, in turn, are used to craft armor, weapons, dwellings and other useful things.
Ore mining process
Ordinary ore can easily be found in large quantities in the mountains near the Watchtower (western mainland). Another place where you can start pumping mining is the Solar Plateau (eastern mainland). All newcomers are recommended to visit these two locations first, and only then explore other places. After the location of the necessary raw materials is found on the map, you can go directly to the deposits themselves. In order to get ore, you need to come close to it and press the F key (it will be installed by default). Among the resources obtained, there may be either ore (1-4 units) or stone (0-4 units) - it all depends on pure chance.

How to get meteorite ore at Archey?
This type of ore is almost the most important ingredient for creating weapons, jewelry and more. Selling things crafted in this way, you can ensure profitable earnings for yourself. By the way, it is profitable to sell not only finished items, but also the meteorite ore itself - its prices are also high.
So where can you get this useful raw material? Meteorite deposits can be found on the Shooting Star Peninsula. There, next to the geysers, a water source will be located, at the bottom of which there are valuable veins. The main thing is not to forget to stock up on an oxygen cylinder for immersion to a depth. Hunting for valuable ore attracts a large number of competitors, therefore it is very important to be the first always and everywhere.
