Screen for the bath - practicality, convenience, beauty

Every inhabitant of an apartment in which there is a bath tub not intended for showering gets into a difficult situation. That is, you can take it, fortunately, there is a mixer with a long hose, and the bath allows you to stand upright without any problems. But complete enjoyment of the shower is not guaranteed. Firstly, all the time you have to make sure that the stream of the soul is directed towards the wall. Secondly, hitting the body, it still generates a sheaf of spray flying to the floor. Thirdly, after taking a shower, instead of relaxed bliss, you need to remove water from the floor of the bathroom as soon as possible so as not to “spread moisture”.

Shower Curtains

It happens that the position is partially saved by curtains for the shower, which, as a rule, are 30-40 years old. Although their main purpose was different. In Soviet-built houses, the bathroom was very often combined. An opaque curtain closed the person in the bathroom and gave another family member the opportunity to use the toilet. The aesthetics of such a solution, as well as the design of the curtain made of polyethylene, oilcloth or fabric, leaves much to be desired.

A modern bath screen is the exact opposite of the "grandmother" curtain. It is made of modern materials, made in the same style as the bathroom and, of course, is not contaminated as fast as the "budget" curtain.

21st century curtains made of safety glass or plastic are durable and aesthetic. They are mobile: they can be opened and closed like doors. Such rigid curtains are frame, frameless and partially fixed to the frame. There are models that ensure the shutter runs in a semicircle, which allows you to cover the space of modern bathtubs of complex shape.

There are people who cannot stand enclosed spaces. Special solutions are offered for them. For example, a bath screen allows you to separate the bath with a small area in front of it from the rest of the room. Another option is a screen that is placed on the bath itself, but only part of it is enclosed. The household enters the bath from the side opposite to the faucet and enters the cabin closed on three sides. Such a bath screen will suit those who take a gentle shower and try not to spray water.

Screen for the bathroom

If the bath is limited by walls on three sides, the solution suggests itself: to make the fourth "wall" transparent, in the form of a partition. It will turn out a shower cabin with oar and sliding doors. Those who are not afraid of such a “closet” will fully enjoy the hydromassage shower. Not a single drop will fly out of the bathtub. In principle, this bath screen in the form of a partition can reach the ceiling, but it will be more competent to leave a ventilation gap.

There are baths that have a non-standard configuration. It’s very difficult to choose a screen of the appropriate form for them, and a partition is completely impossible. A bath screen in the form of an accordion - several panels mounted on hinges-hinges will help to get out of a difficult situation. This design is easy to fold and unfold, it can cover both the entire bath and part of it. Unfortunately, the accordion screen cannot boast of reliability if the hinges with which it is fixed to the wall are not made reinforced, designed for a large load.

If the user does not like the transparent screen for the bath, you can always choose from tinted, frosted or patterned glass. However, it should be borne in mind that such a choice will significantly increase the price of the product.
