Victory Day is a holiday to which older and middle-aged people in most of the post-Soviet space treat with special trepidation. And young people show rather high interest and respect for him. In the matter of spiritual and moral education of the younger generations, instilling patriotic feelings, it is important to promote in every possible way the feat of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War and the role of Soviet troops in the Second World War. To do this, schools conduct open classrooms and lessons of courage, military song contests, matinees and solemn rulers.

This helps the children not only realize the greatness of what their grandfathers and great-grandfathers did, but also fills them with a sense of legitimate pride in the past of the Motherland, a desire to protect it. What exactly can be advised to young journalists "typesetting" the issue? Almost everyone in the apartment now has computers and other office equipment. Therefore, if the editorial board does not have picturesque talents, you can find on the Internet and print posters from the time of the war, photographs of its participants, battles, making explanatory signatures to them by hand. Be sure to include in your “Combat Leaflet” a lyrical “page”: lines from poems and songs of those years. They are deeply soulful, sincere, touching and infect with special patriotic pathos. If there are guys in the class whose grandparents and veterans are still alive, you can take small interviews from them and place them in a special section. Or ask permission from adults to use the family archives. This idea is especially fruitful if it is timed to coincide with the May 9 “Battle Leaf”. Schoolchildren will see not poster heroes, but concrete people living next to them, whose hands won the Victory.

Issue of a newspaper during the Zarnitsa

During the game “Zarnitsa” “Combat Leaf” was issued with reports on successes or defeats of teams, lists of distinguished ones, descriptions of curious or other cases. The newspaper not only informed what was happening, but also motivated the participants of the game for new achievements, raised the fighting spirit of the children.
