The sticking point of the avid collectors of Skyrim is the carry weight. It happens that Dovakin crawls into the ancient Nordic ruins, scatters all the local draugs, and it is not possible to take away all the values. Legal Ways
The starting indicator of the load capacity of Dovakin is 300. With an increase in the power reserve of 10 units, the transferred weight increases by 5. If you want to improve the “carrying capacity”, pump this skill.
Another way to increase the carry weight in Skyrim is to touch the Horse Stone. It can be found moving north from the Wolf Skull Cave in the possession of Solitude. Touching, the protagonist receives a blessing that gives:
- increase in carrying capacity by 100 units;
- a set of armor carried by Dovakin weighs nothing.
A very useful boost, since the armor actually ceases to "bite off" a noble piece of the indicator of tolerated weight.
When activated, bugs can be observed:
- If Dovakin wears more than one set of armor in a backpack, the blessing will work for everyone when donned.
- With fast loading, the second element of the Horse Sign effect disappears. To fix it, go to the inventory menu and exit again.
Another couple of legal ways - to enchant to increase the rate of transferred weight or drink the appropriate potion. The latter will increase the volume of the backpack, depending on the quality of the drunk medicine (20 - 60). This gives a margin of time to leave the location and teleport to the nearest major city, and to flush the goods to the merchant.
Illegal Methods
You can increase the carry weight in Skyrim with both codes and trainers. The latter require pressing one or two keys to activate the desired boost.
Console commands are entered using the ~ (tilde) key and are written in the line that appears. The code player.setav caryweignt [portable weight] will set the required parameter. It is only necessary to indicate the required number in brackets.
A number of fan mods allow you to adjust the carrying capacity in various ways: reducing the weight of objects in the game or increasing the volume of the protagonist's backpack.
Verdict
Carried weight is an important indicator of the game, the same as strength, dexterity, accuracy and so on. The use of cheats negates the efforts of developers and does not allow the player to feel the beauty of the author’s idea. Therefore, you should not resort to using console commands and third-party software if Skyrim is played for the first time. But if the goal is to quickly run through locations and relax, then why not.
