Chemical method: the leaves and stems of the plant are crushed to a homogeneous consistency, after which they are soaked in soda solution until cellulose is formed. After that, soda is evaporated, and the pulp is ground and tapped. A few more compounds are added to the resulting mixture, then passed through a filter. Under the influence of acid, the ribbons passed through the filter are formed into hardened fibers (yarn threads). Very often, such yarn is called bamboo silk.
The bamboo mats obtained by the weaving method have a fleecy structure. In this case, the pile can be short, medium, long and have a different density. Carpets with a short pile are most suitable for the most passage rooms, because they need less care, with a medium pile for a children's room, and a long one for the bedroom interior.
