Story

Previously, the center of the Gurubashi empire was located in the valley.

From there originates the legend of a nameless traveler troll. In his wanderings, he stumbled upon one mighty artifact, called the stone of the tides. The hero decided to take him with him. After some time, the troll realized that the stone has amazing properties. With it, you can summon water elementals, control the tides, do things that only magicians of the Kirin Tor were capable of. Upon returning home, the wanderer received appropriate recognition and respect. He was inscribed in the local hall of fame. However, after some time it became clear that the stone carries a curse. The user slowly disappeared from the material world. One morning, resigned to his fate, the troll went to the beach, went into the water and disappeared. After himself, he left only an artifact and a title.

1500 years before the opening of the Dark Portal, a civil war broke out in the Gurubashi empire, won by the Hakkari faction, worshiping the eponymous bloodthirsty god. Then they began to realize their ambitions, conquering the nearby tribes of gnolls and murlocs.

After some time, the trolls of the Zandalar faction realized that the thirst for Hakkari blood would never be saturated. Gathering like-minded people among other tribes, they staged a revolt. The attack on the capital of Zul'Gurub was successful, and power passed into other hands.

The collapse of Gurubashi was marked by the appearance of Neptulon and his hand kraken, which destroyed Zul'Gurub and the surrounding lands. At the moment, the descendants of the surviving trolls live on the ruins of civilization, united in small tribes.
