How to add your own music to "GTA-5": instructions

Since the advent of fully three-dimensional games from the GTA series, developers have added the ability for the user to insert their favorite tracks instead of an empty radio station. This function exists today, so you can add your music to GTA-5 using the instructions below.

How to add your music to "GTA-5"

Song requirements

The game has no restrictions and requirements for the songs in terms of their duration, quality or name. The only condition that the player must fulfill in order for the audio recording to be recognized in the GTA-5 menu is to use only the mp3 format.

How to copy tracks to the game?

First you need to close the action itself and do the folders. Locate the User Music directory, which is located in the root directory with the game installed. You need to open the Rockstar Games folder and go to the directory with the game, then go to the desired directory, by default there will not be a single file.

Now open the folder with the prepared playlist in mp3 format and copy it to User Music. It is worth noting that you do not have to add all the songs at once. If you suddenly want to include a new track or favorite song on the radio that you forgot earlier, then simply copy it to the general playlist. In order for the game to find your list, the folder must contain at least two tracks, the radio station cannot be made from just one song.

Now we launch the GTA-5 itself. You can add your music to the game through the settings menu. Open this section and select the "Audio" tab. Here we find the "Quick Music Search" function and wait for the game to scan the contents of the User Music folder.

After that, we get into the car and scroll through the radio stations to the position Self Music. Only your tracks with rare inserts of a game DJ will be played here to create the feeling of a full-fledged city radio. It is worth saying that on a PC you can add music to "GTA-5" in the described way, but in the case of consoles, unfortunately, this will not work.
