In the voice of actress Makiko, Omoto Kirby spoke in games of the Super Smash Bros. series, in games of Kirby 64: The Crystal Shards, Kirby's Epic Yarn. Also, her voice can be heard in the cartoon, all one hundred episodes are voiced by her. However, in 1993 there were changes, Mayumi Tanaka began to voice Kirby. The game received a new voice and as a result became more lively and dynamic. The changes greatly pleased the fans of the game, giving the toy a second wind.
