Burnout Paradise, the system requirements of which will be presented in the article, was released in 2008. More recently, this race has acquired a reissue, featuring improved graphics. The article will describe the requirements for both versions of the game.
2008 Standard Game Requirements
Let's start with the original, the least demanding on computer power. The developers presented two configuration options: for playing on low and high graphics. In order to run the race at the minimum level of graphics without “brakes”, you will need a simple Intel Pentium 4 processor of the initial generation, 1 GB of RAM and a GeFroce 6600 level graphics card with 128 MB of memory. To install the game, you need 4 GB of free space on your hard drive and the installed DirectX 9.0 library.
If you set the maximum level of graphics, then for comfortable gameplay with a frame rate above 30, you will need already 2 GB of RAM, an Intel Cor 2 Duo processor and a 256 GB or higher graphics card. The amount of space on the hard drive for installation remains the same.
Requirements for Remastered
Now consider the system requirements of Burnout Paradise Remastered, which was released in 2018. This version also has two requirements.
For minimum picture quality, you will need a computer with a 2-core Intel Core Ay3 processor or a similar manufacturer AMD. You also need 4 GB of RAM and a GT 450 graphics card or AMD equivalent with DirectX 11. Now, installation requires not 4 GB, but 8 GB of hard drive space.
The recommended system requirements of Burnout Paradise Remastered are as follows: Intel Core Ai5 processor or AMD equivalent with a frequency of 3.4 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, graphics accelerator GTX 750 Ti or newer.
If the regular version of the racing game is capable of running on the Windows XP operating system, then the re-release works only with Windows 7 and newer. To set the maximum quality of the graphics, you will have to play on the "top ten", which supports DirectX 11. So you can enjoy high-resolution textures, effects, lighting and all the other changes of the remaster.
