Information, like any object, has some properties. Such properties of information in computer science are divided into several categories. Consider the main ones.
Attributive properties of information are those properties without which data cannot exist. Firstly, it is the inseparability of data from their physical medium, as well as the linguistic nature of the information. A fairly important area of computer science is precisely the study of a variety of information carriers and languages, as well as the development of new, more modern and advanced ones. However, the information is mainly not associated with a particular medium, nor with a particular language.
