Should I put a rug in the hallway?

Someone may answer that the rug must be constantly cleaned, shaken and washed, but this is not entirely true. Vacuuming or shaking out the carpet, of course, is necessary, but it is enough to do it once a week, and in dry weather even less often.

Do I need to equip the rug in the hallway with heating? If we are talking about that which serves to delay street dirt and dust, then there is no special meaning. Heating will not be felt through the shoes, and barefoot on a dirty doormat do not stand up. When we talk about the coating that a person gets after changing shoes, then options are possible. If you don’t wear slippers, then it may be pleasant for you, coming from the cold, to be on a warm and soft surface.

Rugs made of the following materials are common: rubber, coconut fiber, rubber and latex with a pile. All of them retain dirt well, are easy to clean and have a wide range of colors and shapes.
