Folk traditions

The first children's games on the street were invented hundreds of years ago. Many of them are still popular. However, not all modern children know what classics, blindfolds, and salki are. Adults can come to their aid by introducing the kids to the following outdoor games:

• "Owl". From the number of players, a driver is selected. He becomes an "owl", the rest of the children - "mice." When the leader says: “Day!”, The children actively jump, run, dance. • "Cossack robbers." Two teams play. In advance, the territory for which it is impossible to go is stipulated. "Cossacks" choose a place for the "dungeon", where they will put the caught. "Rogues" agree on a password and hide, while drawing arrow keys. They try to make them as confusing as possible. After 20 minutes, the "Cossacks" go in search. The found "robber" needs to be mastered (touch it), and then taken to prison. The watchman “tortures” the prisoners by tickling, trying to find out the password. "Robbers" can attack the dungeon and free the comrades. The game ends when the password is guessed or all the "robbers" are caught.

Running games

Children like to jump, rush after each other, test themselves for dexterity. This opportunity is provided by games on the street. For example, such:

• "Burners". The players are divided into pairs and line up. The leader turns his back to them and says: “Burn, burn clearly, so as not to go out. • "Sorcerers". This outdoor game is similar to regular catch-up. The difference is that a seized child should freeze with arms and legs wide apart. It can be "bewitched" by the touch of any other player. The task of the driver is to immobilize all children.
• "Baba Yaga." An evil sorceress is assigned as a reading room. Her house is drawn. The remaining players move freely around the site, teasing the sorceress. Suddenly, Baba Yaga can run out of the house and start catching children. Captured are forced to sit in prison in her hut.

Sonorous ball

Outdoor games for children are often held using equipment. They can be a jump rope, rubber band, ball.

Using it, children can play the following games:

• "Potato". The kids stand in a circle and throw the ball. Anyone who could not catch him, squats down and turns into a "potato". Such a player can be "bewitched" if you hit him with the ball. But in case of a slip, you yourself sit next to him. Also, the "potato" returns to its original place, if she managed to intercept a passing ball.
• Bouncers. Children are divided into teams. Parallel lines are drawn on the ground. One team becomes between them, the other is lined up in two lines for features. The goal - with the ball to knock out the children standing in the center. But if a player catches a ball flying at him, he has a spare life.
• "Guard the captain." The kids are divided equally. Each team must have a captain, the rest become defenders or attackers. The site is delimited by a line. The captain with the defenders can only be in his field. Attackers should not go beyond the opponent’s area. A point is counted if the ball manages to defeat the captain of the opponents. The battle lasts 10 minutes, then points are counted.

Water fun

Games for children on the street are held at any time of the year. In summer, water activities can be organized. It is advisable that adults be present.

• "Water blind". Players put on their bathing caps and try to catch the lead. He alone sees what is happening, and tries not to be caught. However, this is not so simple, because the driver must constantly ring the bell. The one who grabbed the sly takes his place.

• "King of the hill." The child climbs into a snowdrift or hillock, others try to pull him down and take hold of the peak. The one who lasts longer on the mountain wins.
• "Ice". A circle is drawn on the snow, inside of which 10 ice cubes are buried. The leader is in the center of the circle and has no right to go beyond it. Other children can cross the line. Their task is to pull hidden ice floes beyond the boundaries of the circle. Leading at this time salit them. The one whom he managed to touch changes places with him. Fun lasts until all the ice is knocked out of the circle.

Fun with snowballs

Winter games on the street can develop not only agility, speed, coordination of movements, but also accuracy. Snowballs are great throwing equipment.

They will come in handy for the following games:

• "Hit the target." The driver prepares the "shells". His goal is to get into children running around the site. Each “crippled” child joins him and helps to ruin the rest.
• "Knock down the bucket." You need a snowman to play. They put a bucket on his head and try to knock him out with snowballs. As a result of the game, the most accurate child is determined.
• "Tire". In winter, outdoor games for children can be diversified by building targets from plywood. The usual circles or pictures are drawn on them (tiger, open-mouthed monster mouth). You can arrange soft toys for churning.
• "Ambush". Two teams play. One is hiding behind a snowdrift and preparing snowballs. The other should run under fire from one side of the site to the other. "Padded" falls in the snow and lies there. Then the children change. The team that was able to “knock out” more opponents wins.
