Alchemy is a valuable skill that will come in handy during the passage of the game. There are several ways to raise it - try ingredients whose effect is unknown; take lessons to improve the skills of characters in different cities, as well as independently make potions, hoping for a positive result.
For potions, poisons and elixirs, you will need various ingredients that have the appropriate properties. Each of them can contain four different properties. You can recognize them only when preparing an elixir or during a tasting.
Description of ingredient
The troll fat in Skyrim is used as an alchemical ingredient. Its properties include:
- Resistance to poisons.
- Increase the skill "Two-handed weapon."
- Rabies.
- Health damage.
Resistance to poisons is useful when a character fights against frost spiders and other poisonous creatures. The poison takes a lot of health, causing subsequent damage.
Increasing the skill "Two-handed weapon" helps when the player uses this weapon, and the enemy is much stronger than the main character. In this case, the damage from the weapon used increases.
Fat troll in "Skyrim" is one of the components of the poison of Rabies and has this property. An adversary affected by this poison attacks everyone around - whether it be an enemy or an ally.
The last property, which contributes to the loss of health, is suitable for another poison.
Troll location
Trolls are very powerful opponents and live mainly in caves or gorges. Fire damage can be used against them - this is their weak point. According to the plot, they can be found along the road to the Greybeards and in the ruins of the Labyrinthian.

There are several places where troll fat can be found without buying or killing.
Next to Solitude is the Warehouse of the Eastern Imperial Company, where you can collect 17 pieces of this ingredient.
In Windhelm, fat is in the Calixto Antiquities Museum, Sadri Second Hand Goods, Royal Palace.
Not far from Dunstar there is a fort, which in former times was called the Temple of the Nightcaller. You can get there only on assignment and find a couple of pieces of troll fat. In Dunstar itself there is an alchemical shop where this ingredient is available.
Also, troll fat can be found in every estate that will be available to the main character when he is awarded the title of Tan. All ingredients will be available only after buying a home and furnishing for it.
