Playing in The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion, many are wondering: how to throw an unnecessary thing out of inventory? In TES 4: Morrowind, you could just drag a thing to the ground. How to throw a thing out of inventory?
To do this, open the inventory and hold down the Shift key and click on the item that you want to throw. If there are several things, a window will appear in which you can specify how much to throw.
You can also drag the item towards your character (which is visible in the open inventory mode), outside the window. However, when using the latter method, sometimes You have not enough room appears. It means that there is too little space in front of the character to throw an object.

How to throw a quest item?
So, it’s clear how to throw things out of inventory in Oblivion. But another question remains open about things in the inventory in the third part of the legendary TES series. How in Oblivion to throw things from the inventory that remained after the completion of the quest? Many faced this after, for example, the last quest of the guild of magicians or the theft of a scroll of elders (line of the Thieves Guild). The black soul stone and the Robbery Plan remain in inventory for the entire subsequent game, interfering and confused. The same can be said of the Viper Ring and the Arrow of Liberation.
Unfortunately, the developers did not provide for such an opportunity, or rather, provided for its absence. This was done so that quest items were not lost and were not thrown out by the player by chance. But now, if the quest item is not picked up during the quest, it is impossible to get rid of it without involving software.
However, such situations are rare (2-3 times in the entire game). In addition, there is a special plugin (Andrews No Quest Items v 1.0). Using it, you can get rid of all quest items, and after that - raise the necessary ones. Another option is to use the constructor to remove the “quest” parameter from the item and calmly lay it out.
