Often, washing things with a washing machine and using various bleaching agents helps fade fabrics. Cotton products are most susceptible to this. Over time, they lose their original brightness, become pale and dull. However, many synthetic fibers suffer the same problem. To refresh them and give things a second life, you can paint them in dry cleaning or at home. Usually in such cases, aniline dye is used to dye the fabric.
Dyeing clothes at home is the easiest way to update your wardrobe without serious financial costs. You can easily dye cotton and woolen fabrics at home - the fibers that make up them absorb the paint well.
Synthetic fabrics are more complicated. You cannot paint them at home with
aniline dyes. They should be attributed to dry cleaning, where special paints and rather sophisticated technologies are used.
The fabric paint is quite varied . At home, both powder and liquid, which are sold in hardware stores, are successfully used. Each package of such a dye is provided with detailed instructions. Before staining, read it carefully. It clearly indicates what proportions should be observed when diluting paint in water, what should be the maximum weight of fabric or clothing, etc.

Many Russian manufacturers produce various dyes. They are good
process fabrics and retain color for a long time. For example, “Lucar" is an aniline fabric dye. At home, with its help you can dye woolen and nylon fabrics, except nitron and lavsan. It can even be used to dye fur and genuine leather. All this is indicated on the package, in addition, color must be indicated on it.
“Universalna” (manufactured by “Tekhnohim”, the city of St. Petersburg) is a dye for fabric in home conditions which is suitable for linen, cotton or viscose.
So, let's get to work. Fill the basin with water (the amount is indicated in the instructions) and gradually, constantly stirring, pour dye into it. If you need to paint several things, it will be more expedient to do this one at a time to avoid overfilling the tank. Do not try to paint things in the washing machine - it will be very difficult to wash its walls.
Check that the fabric does not clump and does not appear wrinkled, otherwise, after staining, light areas will appear on it. Hold the item in the basin (stirring occasionally) until it becomes slightly darker than required. Having dried, it will lighten. Then rinse the product well several times, adding a little vinegar to the last rinse water.
