The word "regime" in most people is associated with unpleasant service and submission. In fact, this is just an accessible and intelligible wording of the necessary order of affairs and occupations of a person in a particular situation. Another thing is that any routine is recommended to be observed, because it is a healthy necessity, and not just the order of a physician, teacher or educator in a preschool institution. In today's article, we will find out what the motor mode (DR) is in general, find out how important its organization and performance is for children of different ages, as well as how to fix it.
What is motor activity and mode?
A concept such as motor mode refers to the total physical activity of a person, which he produces in a certain period of time. It is a natural need to keep your body in good shape, while it is important to make the load regular, feasible and cyclical. Note that a good physical form and regular aerobic exercise of varying intensity contribute not only to improving health, but also have a positive effect on the psychoemotional state of a person. Moreover, this relationship comes to the fore in young children. That is, the younger the child, the more important it is for him to move more.
The motor regime of the day consists of several components, each of which has its own meaning and features. During the day, you must provide your own body with such loads:
- rhythmic strength exercises that will develop the respiratory and circulatory systems of a person, his metabolism and thermoregulation;
- classes aimed at strengthening the muscular skeleton, the development of the musculoskeletal system, joints and ligaments;
- general health hardening;
- short-term workouts, including physical education and morning exercises.
The above list is a basic and average mode for a healthy person. However, it must be corrected in the case of any disease, including chronic. The acute form of the disease can be a direct indication for the restriction of motor activity, up to its complete exclusion.
The importance of dynamics in human life
Why is it important to be active in life? The organism of almost any creature on Earth is created in such a way that it is obliged to move a significant part of its existence in motion in order to be able to survive. Our body allows us to walk, run, jump, climb highlands, pull, push and perform many more different actions that we simply have nowhere to put into practice.
A few centuries ago, people did not have to think about where to put their energy, how the organization of the motor regime occurs. They worked a lot in the field, men hunted, were engaged in handicrafts, which in itself was hard work, women were busy with housekeeping, and their helpers were most often only children. In such conditions, I had to move a lot, sometimes even excessively, but people were healthier and more enduring.
The modern way of life has allowed a person to stop, as a result of which millions of men, women and children suffer from obesity, metabolic disorders, hormonal disruptions, many have muscle atrophy, disorders of the skeletal system, joint diseases and lack of emotional activity. In many respects, this is a consequence of insufficient physical exertion, or even their complete absence.
When is the doctor dictating compliance?
It is important to observe the optimal motor regime not only for one day or a week, but always generally. In the case of certain diseases or a special condition of the body, a person needs to develop an individual set of exercises, which will be based on the bases of exercise therapy. At the same time, it will concern not only the list of special classes, but also the entire daily routine. What categories of people should consult a specialist to create real recommendations for establishing the correct regime of physical activity?
- people with disabilities;
- those who have serious endocrine diseases;
- people with cardiovascular disease;
- categories of citizens of advanced age, elderly;
- women during pregnancy.
The motor mode includes not only the dynamic load during a certain time of classes, but also walks in the fresh air, active types of games, short-term warm-ups, passion for dancing, etc.
Types of physical activity
This classification of regimes directly depends on the medical decision made by the doctor regarding his patient. He gives his recommendations and instructions on the intensity of physical activity to a person individually, and they depend on the patient’s health status and his abilities. There are such main types of motor modes:
- free - when a person can move around without restrictions, he is allowed to take walks, engage in physical education;
- ward - in this case, you can get out of bed, walk, if possible, take care of yourself (wash, go to the toilet, eat, etc.);
- bed - a person is forced to stay in bed all the time, he is only allowed to change the position of the body, sitting down or turning over;
- strict bed rest - in this case, the prescriptions of doctors prohibit any physical activity, lifting and sitting down, all the manipulations help outsiders to do the person.
In addition, it is worth distinguishing between the types of provisions of a person that he can take while observing bed rest. The position may be active, passive or forced.
Freedom to the children!
The motor regime of children should include the same items as the routine of activity of an adult, the only thing that children can not be as lengthy in time. So, morning exercises should last an average of about 15 minutes, and a physical education session cannot last more than 2-3 minutes.
It is extremely important for a child to be active and develop physically, this develops his body, strengthens and heals him. Regular physical activity contributes to the development of endurance, discipline, temper the baby, increase his level of resistance to various infectious diseases. Teachers note that in the task of organizing active pastime, not only educational institutions, but also the parents themselves play a key role.
It is important that these two parties contribute to each other and be a kind of tandem. In kindergartens and schools, physical activity is part of the educational process, but two hours of full-fledged physical activity is not enough to organize the optimal regime. Therefore, it is so necessary for parents to encourage active games for children both at home and on the street. Alas, mothers and fathers themselves often restrict their child in movement, being afraid of injuries, noise and disorder, but this can be avoided if we direct the child’s energy in the right direction, provide him with a free zone for movement and games, as well as necessary equipment and inventory.
Movement and Psychology
Young parents know that the modern approach to the motor activity of the newborn is significantly different from the standards adopted several decades ago. Pediatricians and neonatologists have proved that in children who are not constrained by tight swaddling, the development of coordination of movements faster, they begin to hold their heads, sit down, crawl and walk more confidently. In addition to the fact that the free position of arms and legs has a beneficial effect on the general physical development of newborns and children of the first year of life, it also helps children develop psychologically. The infant's motor regimen should include daily gymnastics, swimming, and exercises on the ball.
Moving and trying everything around by touch, the child learns the world, and this knowledge does not end as early as his parents think. Even schoolchildren, having seen an object with properties unknown to it, strive to pick it up, smell it, lick it, feel it and examine it from all sides. Only freedom of movement helps the child feel free and confident. If he is inactive, this often leads to complexes and emotional imbalance.
Actual for kids
The motor mode of the preschooler is very much dependent on the program of classes of the teacher with children. The teacher should organize the work in the group so that throughout the day at his wards, educational lessons alternate with active ones. In addition, it is necessary to organize the time of the walk as productively as possible so that the children are engaged in a collective outdoor game. This can be a task both for the whole group and for small companies, in each of which the guys will have their own game.
A rational motor regime in kindergarten will help organize special literature and visual aids, cards with descriptions and illustrations of various exercises. All these materials should be placed in a group, they need to be hung or placed in the children's access area and taught them how to work with them.
School problem
It is usually easier for teachers and trainers to work with primary school children - they are more willing to make contact than teenagers, they are happy to work in various circles and sections. It is at this age that children need to be instilled with a love of physical education, teach them how to exercise and encourage active pastime, show collective games that they can play with friends on the street.
Children whom parents have taught to spend their leisure time actively at an early age usually later adhere to their usual motor regimen and lead a healthy lifestyle.
How to increase the daily motor activity of the child?
It is very important to provide the child with the necessary equipment, he must have a variety of balls (football, volleyball, basketball, for throwing), sets for playing badminton, home bowling or darts, ring-throwers.
In addition, it is good if the children have their own personal vehicle. It can be a scooter or a bicycle, rollers or a bicycle run. Skating is not only a great way to diversify the motor activity of a child, but also the opportunity to get close to him.
