The basis of the
digital Japanese compass is a magnetic sensor, with two perpendicular turns and a magnetic resistance device between them. Under the influence

In March 2013, the “Pro Trek” series was supplemented by a watch with a PRG260 compass. These "Casio" are equipped with a direction sensor that monitors the operation of the compass. In the spring of 2013, Casio also released the new G-Shock. A watch with a compass, the full name of which is defined by the GA1000-1A index, was developed for aviators, so the main emphasis is on increased readability. The marks on the body are large. Arabic numbers have become thicker.
In the compass GA1000-1A, the sensor is responsible for the exact orientation to the cardinal points. After pressing the button, this device gives a command to the second hand, which temporarily stops its run and starts pointing to the North. To adjust the route, the Casio watch with a compass saves the main direction of movement in memory. The compass protects the antimagnetic watch case.
