How the 15th anniversary of World Poetry Day was celebrated
Poetry Day in 2014 was celebrated in various parts of Russia. In Russian Tver, the holiday was marked by a literary evening-meeting with the famous poet Andrei Dementyev, which was held at the Poetry House named after the hero of the occasion.
In Khabarovsk, World Poetry Day was celebrated in a special way. The script for the solemn date was written by the authors of the creative association "Galatea Art" in collaboration with regional literary clubs. Young authors, telling about their work, were involved. The program was decorated with musical works and theatrical performances.
