It follows from this that a woman can receive this benefit even after childbirth.

Maternity allowance, first of all, should be paid to a pregnant woman or young mother in an amount equal to the average earnings. However, there is a certain limitation on the limit of this quantity. If the woman’s salary is higher, then the benefit amount will be calculated using a different formula. In any case, it will not exceed one thousand three hundred rubles a day.





In order to calculate correctly this maternity allowance, you first need to multiply the average earnings by the number of days of your vacation that corresponds to childbirth. For example, it's one hundred and forty days. Next, you will need to multiply the average, so-called, daily earnings by one hundred and forty. The result will be the maximum amount of your benefit if the birth is routine. For those whose work experience is less than five to six months, a different formula will be given below. The maximum monthly allowance will most likely not exceed the established minimum wage. It is worth noting that this rule is also characteristic of individual entrepreneurs. In this situation, a woman in a position will receive her allowance only if she is registered with the so-called social insurance fund and pays the necessary contributions for more than a year.

University students who are full-time students are also eligible for this maternity allowance. In this situation, the allowance will be further calculated depending on the size of the scholarship.

A special case is work in several companies. In such a situation, a pregnant woman will have to contact every employer. Moreover, all its leaders will be required to pay the girl maternity allowance.

As for women who are unemployed, this benefit is simply not paid to them. However, there are special cases. For example, the dismissal as a result of the urgent liquidation of an enterprise or organization. If this happened less than a year ago, then a pregnant woman and a young mother are entitled to receive special benefits at the RUSZN. This allowance will be approximately four hundred rubles a month. It is worth noting that in many areas of our state, such moms are prescribed additional benefits. For example, in the capital it is equal to one and a half thousand rubles.

If a woman is registered for her pregnancy earlier than at twelve weeks, she is entitled to maternity allowances in the amount of four hundred and fifty rubles.
