Communication with nature is of great importance for the upbringing and development of preschoolers. Under the guidance of an adult, kids gain knowledge about the world around them, learn to take care of plants, animals, and be responsible for their actions.
Traditionally, in the preschool institutions the corners of nature take shape, but if you can find free space, it is advisable to arrange a winter garden in the kindergarten. Registration will require considerable material costs, but the results will not be long in coming. Such a room will not only please children, but can also be used as an office of psychological relief for adults.
What is a winter garden
A conservatory refers to a room or annex with a variety of plants. The winter garden in the kindergarten is also arranged. The decoration of the premises is carried out in accordance with sanitary standards and the educational program.
Animals can also be accommodated in the preschool in the conservatory. The conservatory differs from a greenhouse and a greenhouse in the size and number of plants, as well as in that it is not built separately from the main building.

Vegetation
The flora of the winter garden includes indoor plants typical of central Russia, shrubs, herbs of different countries and life forms. In a preschool, it is recommended to breed begonias, cacti, aloe, succulents, hibiscus, grassy vines. The interior will be decorated with orange and lemon trees, palm trees, banana grass. The selected plants must be compatible, combined with each other in color, shape.
You should not plant a garden densely. Firstly, it is ugly, and secondly, it is necessary to provide for places where pupils will study, participate in psychological trainings or joint games. This is exactly how the winter garden in the kindergarten should be : the design of the room attracts children, makes you want to come here again.
Animals
In winter gardens, combined with living corners, most often have aquariums with guppies, barbs, veiltail, swordsman and other fish. In addition to fish, snails and plants are placed in the aquarium: the nitella is flexible, the floating rich, the Canadian elodea. Algae help maintain the required oxygen level in the aquarium and save fry from being eaten by excessively gluttonous parents.
Children are interested in watching birds. Therefore, if a winter garden in a kindergarten is equipped, the design suggests the presence of cells with feeders and drinkers. Educators offer canaries and budgies to the attention of the kids. At the bottom of the "bird houses" sand is poured. In the cells are mounted vents.
Turtles, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters bring a lot of positive emotions . Land animals are kept in cages, and turtles in terrariums.
Together with the teacher, the pupils feed the animals, clean the cages, change the water, pour food. Along the way, an adult talks about the origin, habitat, lifestyle of animals, reptiles and birds, teaches us to be careful with our younger brothers, asks us not to forget that people are responsible for everything living on Earth.
Winter decoration in kindergarten
Between December and February, increased attention is paid not only to the winter garden, but also to the preschool institution as a whole. The windows in the groups are decorated with snowflakes or plot compositions on the theme of winter. In classes on application and designing, kids make garlands, animal masks and fairy-tale characters, details of New Year's costumes. At Christmas, the group is decorated with figures of angels, and on February 23rd - with tanks and planes.
The winter decoration of the kindergarten group is largely dependent on the imagination of the teacher. Someone puts an image of Santa Claus and Snow Maiden on the wall, someone in the group has a snowman flaunting or heroes of the New Year's fairy tale, marching soldiers, and novelties of military equipment delight the eye.
