Our children are our future. This simple axiom is known to almost everyone, since our support in adulthood will largely depend on our children and grandchildren. Moreover, the general level of cultural development of our country also depends on proper upbringing, which, unfortunately, has been inexorably affecting recently. For this reason, the aesthetic education of schoolchildren from the elementary grades is of great importance not only for society, but also for the state as a whole.
The very concept of “upbringing” is a systematic instilling in a child of certain values, attitudes and cultural aspects, thanks to which a small person can correctly perceive the world around him, as well as realize his full potential. It is precisely on this that the efforts of the entire Ministry of Education are directed, which oversees the main aspects of the development of the young generation, from nursery groups to kindergarten and ending with young graduate students of scientific and technological universities.
You must also understand that the aesthetic education of schoolchildren implies the following components:
- sensual-emotional responsiveness to various aspects of human existence: comic and tragic, heroic and vulgar, sublime and base, and so on;
- knowledge and a correct understanding of the essence of aesthetics, both in art and in the world around us;
- the ability and need to build a life according to the laws of moral purity and decency.
Each child from the moment of birth is a blank sheet of paper on which adults begin to bring various aspects of modern life. For this reason, modern children quite often encounter adult problems, being still unprepared for them. The main thing in the life of a small child is love and care for him from, first of all, his closest and dearest people in the world - parents. Fret and harmony in the family are the best influence on the aesthetic education of students. After all, parents are the main example of how to interact with each other, and the child inevitably begins to copy their friends and relatives. For this reason, the role of mom and dad in the life of a child is very important, since the cultural and moral aspects that are laid down in the child in the family will have an impact on him throughout life.
However, each child needs to be in a team for full and harmonious development, for which kindergartens have been created. For this reason, all parents seek to send their children to kindergarten, because it is there that he first encounters not only an outside adult who needs to be obeyed (teacher), but also with his peers. After that, he enters school and becomes a schoolboy, where completely different rules of interaction (teacher - student) already come into force. It is here that the aesthetic education of schoolchildren is laid, as a result of which, after 10 years, a fully formed personality leaves the school.
The most important motive for introducing a modern child to the beautiful is the observation of beautiful landscapes, the experience of aesthetically significant landscapes, as well as objects of animate and inanimate nature. Thanks to this, the child begins to understand the meaning of life itself and the important humanistic aspects. The aesthetic education of primary schoolchildren without fail provides for visiting local history and art museums, exhibitions of sculptures and various miniatures. As a result of all this, children learn not only to appreciate the beautiful, but also to create something with their own hands. For this reason, in all kindergartens and circles there are amateur art exhibitions that show what children have done with their own hands.
In conclusion, it should be emphasized once again that the aesthetic education of children is a paramount task not only for the state education system, but primarily for parents who want to grow up a full-fledged personality from their child.
