What is a zip pack? Despite its rather unusual name, such packaging has appeared long ago in everyday life. In the West - back in the 60s of the last century, in Russia a little later - in the nineties. True, then there were few of them, packages with a zip lock began to be sold in the public domain only in recent years. The innovative development was brought to its course more than one year, the experience of the Japanese company Seisan Nippon Sha, which came up with the minigrip latch, was also used, the Americans bought the rights to it, renaming its brainchild Minigrip Inc.
Only in 1968, after 15 years of the company’s work, did its owners manage to establish production of products that could be put into mass production with subsequent sale on the market. Discoverers resold the license to manufacture products to everyone, so the zip package appeared in Europe.
Do they produce such packaging in Russia?
In the domestic market, these products are represented by both imported samples and products of own production. Import zip-lock packages are most often Chinese products. Its advantage is the low price, but its quality, of course, is very "lame." Most of the complaints of consumers are caused by the rapid wear of the lock, as well as the unreliable adhesion of the package itself.
Russian products cost about 10-15% more. Its manufacturers claim that their packages are stronger and more durable. In addition, they offer a wide variety of packaging options. In fact, there is absolutely nothing secret in this type of packaging . We have to deal with it almost daily in one form or another. However, in the finished product, such packages usually do not contain a zip lock, they are simply soldered and cannot be reused. But as a single product, it is quite possible to purchase packages with a zip-lock and a spout that closes with a doy-pack valve.
Kraft bags are also a very common type of packaging among consumers. Its shape is non-standard - it is not just a rectangular fist, but a container with a bottom at the bottom. Coffee, tea, spices and spices, cereals, breakfast cereals, etc. are usually filled in such bags.

At first, such packaging was made only to meet the needs of entrepreneurs. The scope of use of zip packages has been extremely wide at all times.
