Congratulations to graduates - a memory for a lifetime

I worked as an event organizer for many years, so I know well that the end of the school year in good schools is very difficult for teachers. In addition to the exam, preparing a mass of documents, solving organizational and professional issues, they often have to rack their brains on how to spend graduation.

I know from my own experience that the question of how to come up with original congratulations to graduates of the school takes a lot of time and nerves from teachers. I will try to share my own experience.

Over the years, I came to the idea that congratulations to graduates can be done ... in a pattern. This does not mean that every year everything goes the same. Only the general scheme of the holiday remained unchanged in my lyceum. It was this scheme that made graduates and other students look forward to when the solemn moment would come, what kind of congratulations to the graduates prepared this year?

The newspaper "My childhood ..." was traditional in our lyceum. We collected children's photos of our schoolchildren, came up with funny quatrains for them, commenting on the plot. Such a newspaper never hung longer than 2-3 days: it was literally taken apart for memory. The opportunity to look at their classmates in childhood was a great pleasure for the whole school.

The second traditional moment that we have always used to prepare congratulations to graduates is comic medals and diplomas. Nominations changed every year. I considered it especially important to note those guys who are today called outsiders. We all know that even the most humble and inconspicuous person has many advantages. So they tried to mark them with comic diplomas and medals.

So one of our students, having difficulty communicating with classmates for various reasons, received the medal "For the most seasoned character." The guy blossomed with joy, and fellow practitioners finally paid attention to him. By the way, later I found out that from that day his rapprochement with classmates began, and today, 8 years later, the guys continue to communicate closely. Now families.

The next tradition, which we never refused, while preparing congratulations to the graduates, is the predictions of their future. It was carried out differently every year. Sometimes a “gypsy” just came, sometimes they wondered at a camomile or saw “prophetic dreams”. The main thing in such congratulations is the positive attitude of schoolchildren for the future.

We predicted the career of the Doctor of Ecumenical Sciences to a boy well versed in mathematics, and the career of Miss Planet was predicted to be the first beauty of the school. Absolutely every graduate (even when there were 78 in one of the issues) received such a prediction. And I know for sure that many of them still keep them. Just like a good reminder of school.

My favorite moment of the Last School Bell was the mutual congratulations of 11th grade graduates and elementary school graduates. Poems for such congratulations were composed by high school students themselves. They, calling the kids by name, recognized their right to take their place in high school, handed them the "symbols" of the continuity of school life.

So Artyom, who had been scolded for several years for his addiction to seeds, handed over a package with them to a naughty man from the third class, and Botan handed his younger brother his own glasses. Football players passed the ball with their autographs, fashionistas - exaggerated lipsticks and three-liter cans of perfume. At first, we thought that it was hard to understand such congratulations to elementary school graduates, but time showed that we were wrong: they understand everything perfectly and are looking forward to a “transfer of power”.

While preparing congratulations to graduates, we never forgot about teachers whose children graduated from school. Usually, at the graduation party, we presented “Certificate with honors” to parents and teachers. Among the subjects there were “Patience”, “Courage”, “Knowledge of all objects”, etc. These objects also changed annually.

Naturally, both at the Prom and on the line devoted to the Last Call, we sang songs of our own composition about teachers, subjects, students. We read poetry, danced, released balloons and white doves into the sky. In a word, they tried to do everything so that our children would remember the feeling of joy from the last school holiday for life.
