Among the main innovations, the following features can be distinguished: ocean development, correction of internal errors, as well as additional technical changes. Initially, the developers planned to release two independent updates, but later it was decided to create one major update, which was called The Update Aquatic.

So, what changes has version 1.13 prepared for us?

Blocks and items no longer have a quantity limit

In the latest version of Minecraft, they finally “brought” to the computer the lifting of the restriction on the number of in-game objects, namely cubes and objects. In addition, the player will find many new variations of existing blocks, as well as a set of new semiblocks.

Some building cubes also acquired new names and explanations for their characteristics, which was not the case before.

Additional blocks

The main part of the innovations is occupied by new in-game objects. So, the latest version of Minecraft got to the computer:

1. New air options are caveair for caves and voidair for empty spaces.
2. Columns of bubbles - this water block is formed above the magma or sand of souls that are located at the bottom of water bodies. In a column of bubbles created by magma, the player begins to pull down, in a column of bubbles created by sand of souls - to the surface.
3. Blue Ice - Icebergs generate this new type of ice. It differs from standard ice blocks in higher density and increased glide.
4. Coral - this new kind of multi-colored blocks is generated under water. Corals can be found both in the form of full blocks, and in the form of separate branches.
5. Sea grass and kelp - algae growing on the seabed. The blocks have animated textures, which creates a special atmosphere of the underwater world.
6. Marine conductor - a rather unusual type of block of unknown origin. With it, you can create an energy field that will help to get oxygen under water.
7. Turtle eggs are small blocks laid by large turtles. After some time, turtle cubs emerge from the eggs.
8. New doors, buttons, semi-blocks and push plates.

About new items in Minecraft 1.13

As we said earlier, a lot of various unique content was added to the latest version of Minecraft on the computer. Among the new items I would like to highlight the following:

• Buckets filled with fish (cod, salmon, pufferfish or tropical fish).
• The heart of the sea is a mysterious treasure hidden in random chests. With it, you can create a marine conductor.
• Phantom membrane - with the help of this item you can fix the elite or make a potion of slow fall.
• Nautilus shell - mostly shells are caught from the water on ordinary fishing or are knocked out of the hands of drowned mobs.
• Elixir of slow fall - gives protection against damage during a fall.
• Turtle Power Elixir - Gives the player slowdown and resistance.
• The shell of turtles is a kind of helmet that allows you to survive under water without air for 10 seconds.

The emergence of new mobs

As in many other major updates, in 1.13 there was a place for new mobs:

1. Dolphins are neutral mobs that inhabit the oceans. If you swim next to the dolphin, you can get a special Grace.
2. Drowned are hostile mobs that appear on the seabed. Sometimes they may have a Nautilus shell or a trident in their hands.
3. Turtles are sea neutral mobs that can sometimes be found on land for laying eggs. Young turtles drop small shields from their shells.
4. Phantoms are flying hostile mobs that spawn high in the sky and then stumble into groups to attack.

Update 1.13.1

In addition to the main update, a small additional update was also released, noted as 1.13.1. Does this mean that Minecraft 1.13 is, in fact, the penultimate, and not the latest version of the game to date? What is the latest version of Minecraft on your computer?

Technically, after 1.13, update 1.13.1 follows, so it will be considered the most recent. However, most often the majority of players pay attention only to large updates, since they are the key ones.

The latest version of Minecraft on computer number 1.13.1, although it carries quite interesting changes, is still inferior in scope and significance to the previous version. Among the main innovations are the following:

• the ability to get bone meal from caught fish;
• the ability to grow coral under water using bone meal for this purpose;
• the appearance of a convenient search string of worlds;
• changes in the appearance of octopus;
• adding forceload command (for chunk);
• correction of minor technical errors.
