Naturally, the most famous and beloved by all is the action taking place in Rio de Janeiro. This carnival in Brazil is known to everyone who considers himself an educated person. Many dream of getting on it. Every year, Brazil plunges into a cheerful, noisy and vibrant holiday, drums everywhere that beat the rhythm of samba. This carnival takes place once a year. This always happens in February, when the peak of summer is observed in this country. The holiday begins on Saturday and lasts four days. In the course of this expensive and luxurious performance, Rio Street is surrounded by a whirlwind of sparkles, dancer skirts, fireworks. It takes place in El Salvador and presents the best Afro-Brazilian music. Performances of various groups are also expected. They are called Afoxe societies. Currently, one of the most famous groups is “Gandhi's Children”. Its members take part in the procession, they are dressed in blue lumps and white tunics. What happens during this carnival? Each group dances around two platforms; an orchestra is located on them. Incendiary music sounds, everyone is having fun, laughing and joking. It is noteworthy that anyone can take part in this show, just buy a special T-shirt, which gives the right to join a particular group.

Another carnival in Brazil takes place in the city of Recife. This is a festive street procession. Holding it always falls on the last week of October. Over seven days, several million people take to the streets to please everyone with traditional dances. Very often, carnival participants wear masks, they sing and dance in a certain musical style, it is characteristic of the northeastern part of Brazil and is called Frevo.

Few have heard of the Bahia Carnival. But this is a very interesting action. On huge trucks, a large stage is installed, as well as powerful audio equipment. This allows you to arrange a show moving around the city.

The traditions of such street carnivals were brought to Brazil by immigrants from the islands of Portugal.
