Polyamide (fabric) - what is it? As a result of the chemical processing of oil, coal, natural gas, a whole group of fibers is obtained.
These include nylon, nylon, perlon, silon. All this is called in one word -
polyamide (Polyamide). Polyamide fabric is classified as a
synthetic material. In the textile industry, polyamide (fabric) took the leading position in the world market before all artificial fibers. What is it and where is it used?
It was widely used in the middle of the last century. The surface of the polyamide fabric is most often rough, but can be both smooth and shiny. The material from this raw material, due to light, not laborious staining, is obtained in a variety of colors.
Polyamide - fabric composition
Products from these raw materials, due to their properties, are very popular. But not many people know that this raw material is called "polyamide" (fabric). What is it, we learn by considering its composition and properties.
In order to remove tissue imperfections, scientists have found a way to introduce a variety of stabilizers into the fiber structure, with the help of which the polyamide began to possess the main advantages. It has excellent breathability, quick drying, strength, softness and lightness, as well as resistance to moisture. The fabric resists well the effects of its chemical and biochemical reagents.
Like any other product, along with advantages there are also disadvantages. The material burns out in the sun, after several washings, it becomes brittle, poorly blown, and has increased electrification. The polyamide fiber melts odorless and does not burn, as a result of melting a soft ball is formed.
What is 100% polyamide (fabric)?
Actually - this is nylon. Dense, lightweight, yet soft fabric. It can be folded or folded to the smallest size. It is very easy to operate and almost weightless. It is used mainly in light industry, outerwear is sewn from it - raincoats, windcheaters, jackets, down jackets. These things hold well and keep their shape, are very socks and durable, do not wrinkle, are easily washed, are not ironed, they dry quickly, do not get wet and reliably protect from wind.
Range of use
Polyamide fabric has found its application in the manufacture of consumer goods.
Due to the fact that it is produced in the form of threads that are constantly wound around reels, fishing nets and all kinds of ropes are made from it. This is the most expensive fiber of all that are of artificial origin. In the process of weaving, textured fibers are created from which polyamide (fabric) is obtained. What is it and what are they combined with? Very often, the polyamide thread is twisted with wool or cotton fibers, thereby creating a new fabric, durable and stable. Compared to polyester, polyamide has greater durability and strength.
Fabric care polyamide
Like most synthetic fabrics, polyamide is well washed by hand. Cleaning can also be done in a washing machine at a temperature of no more than 40 degrees. It dries well quickly in air, while it is better to hang it in the wet state. Do not dry in a centrifuge. Do not use bleach. It is recommended to iron with a warm iron, without the use of steam.
