What can a child do in 3 months

The supervision of a pediatrician at the place of residence will never replace the personal daily monitoring of parents for their own child.

What can a child do at 3 months? Not so often, his hands are clenched into fists, most of the time they are opened. In the supine position, he can raise his arms up and forward. If you turn it on your back, you will notice that the buttocks do not lift as much as before, more flat. The baby relies on his forearms independently. Due to this support, after another two weeks, he will be able to raise his head, try to look forward.

Some of the small movements of the handles become quite conscious: to fuss around the clothes, dig into it with your finger, suck on your finger, rub your eyes. From time to time, he examines the hands.

During this period, the baby begins to not only examine objects and touch them, but also proceed to capture. To make it better for them, toys for children 3 months old should hang at a distance of an elongated handle or slightly lower. Swinging toys can annoy the baby, so they need to be fixed. If this cannot be done, then they should be at least small and have a shape that is comfortable to grip. Smooth objects, balls are excluded, rings of different sizes are welcome, etc. It is useful to make or purchase a rug with various elements sewn to the surface, which the baby can feel, sort out, tug at first lying on his tummy, and then crawling.

If the baby has not yet learned to turn sideways from the back, you need to carefully help him, thereby training. Sometimes children roll onto their backs from the abdomen.

During feeding, the baby holds the mother’s chest or bottle with handles.

It’s not scary if sometimes during wakefulness the baby moves its tongue, sticks it out. But if this is observed with food, you should immediately contact a neurologist.

What does a child 3 months old do in the mental plan? He fixes his gaze first on those objects that are closer and do not move, and then on other objects. At the same time, the baby examines them, looks away. His gaze on the human face stops not only when he is lying, but also when he is held upright.

When contacting him, the baby emotionally reacts, animates. The baby’s hearing also develops: he turns his head and eyes to the sound source.

At this age, he remembers what his mother looks like and sets her apart from others. He smiles if he speaks affectionately to him, and reacts very differently to malicious, irritable treatment.

I always want the baby to speak faster. Of course, this moment is still far away, but such a concept as pre-speech development still exists. What can a child of 3 months do in this regard? His cry already has many different intonations, understandable not only to his mother. Emotions can also be expressed by crying, whimpering, yelping, laughing. When the baby is comfortable, they turn to him, he responds with an abomination, walks with a predominance of vowels, but syllables with consonants already come across.

There is no doubt that all mothers are interested in the question of how to develop a baby in 3 months. First of all, it is necessary to provide him with the possibility of tactile sensations (to touch objects of various textures and shapes convenient for gripping with pens). And he must see this toy or something else. You need to constantly communicate with the baby: pronounce your actions, call surrounding objects or repeat his own sounds. All this contributes to the timely development of the child's speech.

And yet, observing what a child can do at 3 months, one should not forget that the optimal stages of development are actually not so accurate, they are individual and can occur a little later or earlier.
