There are decorative models, as well as products with antibacterial impregnation. Oilcloth in medicine
A tissue-based medical oilcloth is a reusable thermoplastic, moisture-proof, breathable material in various shades, which, in accordance with GOST 3251-91, is produced by applying rubber to cotton fabric. It has a high degree of strength, thermal conductivity, gas impermeability, resistance to regular sterilization and disinfection procedures, and large temperature differences. It is delivered in rolls of 45-60 m or finished products of 1-2 m in a package.
It can often be found on medical, massage tables, couches, stretchers. Mattress covers and linen bags are sewn from it. Very relevant in pediatrics (quickly takes the body temperature of the child). It is in demand among parents for use in prams, cribs, car seats, and changing tables.
